The point is that you don't know...neither does Homeland Security. Is is not reassuring that Homeland Security has a policy of denying terrorism ASAP. That's part of why we all think HS is run by morons. In a real terrorist attack, they will be the last ones to figure it out, and the last ones to act.
They haven’t denied it. The quote I heard was that “they have no reason to believe” it is a terrorist act. That’s not a denial.
In fact, it’s nothing, really. They’re unwilling to say anything until they know something. Why is that bad?
