Here is a report from 2004 showing cracks on that particular bridge, if I’m reading the report properly.

Look at the photo on Figure 10, page 9 of the report (page 12 in my Adobe Reader). It’s a photo from 2004 showing cracks in the I35 bridge in St Paul. I’m assuming it’s the same bridge as this one that fell today.
