Example: NEW YORK TIMES going after the Children of Judge Roberts during confirmation hearings

At times, we, on Freerepublic, can get very frustrated.

Many things FREEREPUBLIC handled extremely well. Such as when the NYTimes was going after dirt on the children of Judge Roberts (after he was nominated by President Bush). These children were not even teenagers... What about some of the things done by the media?

Some of what is posted is out of frustration and related to events such as these -- an out of control liberal media.

One thing that was difficult to police on this FORUM was the Call Letters assigned to a Maui TV Station, and then retracted. Some articles/threads are difficult for the Moderators -- this was one that the MODERATORS have done an excellent job on.

True Freepers would be wise to stay away from such threads, as we are being scutinized by the MSM. They can be enticing and funny, but can be used against us. I do not support censorship of the absurd, but only that FReepers understand they shall be taken out of context. :^)
