Most of the ones I know don’t call themselves anything. They will usually say that they are a practitioner of XYZ --- Satanism, Demonics, etc. Some call themselves Satanists or Wiccians.

Geez, where are you hanging out?? I've never met a Wiccian, Satanist or "Demonic" in my life.

Although, in high school I had a friend whose great aunt or 2nd cousin or some kind of distant relative was married to Anton LeVey. No one in the family (they were all Catholic, in west suburban Chicago we’re all Catholic or Greek Orthodox) would talk about it except to say they had “pet” tigers.

Since all the Harry Potter fans are here, can I ask a substantive question? And I guess I should put a Spoiler Alert here just in case.

I was really expecting some explanation of how Snape was able to deceive Voldemort (maybe he had an Unbreakable Oath with someone that somehow prevented Voldemort from detecting lies). Was there an explanation I just missed?

Got the book late, so by the time I thought to ask this question the spoiler thread was done.
