“The foundation that Harrys magic is built on is a gift that is born to you. In the real world, it simply does not exist.”
Very wrong. I’ve know people involved with such things that claimed to have their abilities since birth. That is where the whold concept of generational witchcraft comes from. Many witches claim to come from a line of witches.
We obviously disagree and will continue to disagree. As I said earlier, I see a difference and told you about real life examples I have made growing up based on how I was raised and my beliefs. I am comfortable in my opinions and decisions. I guess that’s why there is more than one flavor of ice cream.
btw, if I met a woman or man who said they were a witch or wizard (generational or not), I would think they were nuttier than squirrel $hit (a phrase I usually reserve for my mother in law). Wait, I did meet a girl who had some crazy background (she started working at the daycare where I worked, naturally). She was some “chosen one”, her parents were in prison for murder, blah, blah blah. I think she really was nuttier than squirrel $hit, an attention seeker and should not be around small children. Thankfully, I had already put in my two weeks, I don’t know what happened to the small children.
I can sit around and claim stuff all day. That doesn’t make it true.
For instance, my family tree says I am a lineal descendant of Marie Antoinette, Sitting Bull, and one of the bishops who got defenestrated in Prague.
See how easy that was for me to do? I mean, it’s a total lie, but I claimed it was true, so in your world it must be, yes?
