Oh, yes, he would live his life and still be funny and grounded, but he would be twinless and people who lose twins never really get over it.

I had a taste of that kind of loss when I lost my beloved sister who was also my best friend. There’s always a big empty space.

It's very true. I have a friend who is a triplet, and she took Fred's death really hard. Even harder than I did, and he was one of my favorites. It just hit a really soft spot for her.

My aunt till the day she died couldn’t talk about losing her sister when she was 18 and her sister was 17 without crying.
