While the current administration, as well as Democrats and Republicans in Congress, focus on the war on terror and the war in Iraq, a greater real-time threat to our way of life and the rule of law in the United States, is manifesting itself just down the road a bit from the White House and the Capitol building . In Prince William Country, Virginia, illegal aliens have just basically declared war on the county, law and order, and the very livelihood of innocent Americans. They have done so, and no one in Washington really seems to care.
In the upside down world that is now our nation, these illegal aliens are outraged that the county is now trying to stem their overwhelming influx and the crushing burden their mass migration imposes on already strained county services. As hard as it may be to believe, these illegal aliens and their supporters, have become so enraged that the county is trying to uphold the law, that they have decided to attack the county on a number of levels.
Just last week, thousands of illegal and legal Hispanics living in the county met to plan their response to the rule of law. Voting with raised fists, they decided to punish the county trough a boycott of non-immigrant businesses, a labor strike, and a lawsuit. Town by town, city by city, county by county, these illegal aliens and the far left lawyers that are eagerly facilitating their lawsuits, plan to chip away at the sovereignty of the United States. And as they do, many of our elected officials and leading news organizations, are cheerleading them on from the sidelines.
Before the supporters of this illegal invasion demonize me, let me say again, that I am married to a Hispanic-American, I speak Spanish, and am not threatened one bit, by the culture. In fact, I think legal Hispanic immigrants add much to the fabric of our nation.
Illegal immigration however, represents a growing threat to our nation in a number of areas. Not the least of which, being crime. As an example, the police and people of Houston, Texas, are now dealing with organized gangs of illegal aliens from Mexico who are carrying out express kidnappings of the local citizens.
An Express Kidnapping being when someone is snatched off the street, driven to an ATM to drain their account, forced to have a family member bring down any money or valuables in the home as ransom, and then many times, still shot in the head and left by the side of the road. My wifes family has fallen victim to a number of these kidnappings.
Express Kidnappings have been perfected in Mexico City, Caracas, Venezuela, and a number of large South American cities, and are now being exported to our nation. If you have not heard of them, dont worry, they will soon be coming to your town.
In closing, the message from these illegal aliens and their supporters could not be more clear. If you dare try to uphold the laws of your nation, state, county, or town, we will sue you, bankrupt your legal business, go on strike against you, and broaden our borders deeper into your nation. And we will do all of this with the assistance of your federal politicians, your mainstream media, and your lawyers. We will wait you out and we will win.
Win they may because no one is coming to the rescue. The federal government has abandoned us on this issue. Those politicians are selling their souls for votes that will never come.
Your only hope -- our only hope -- is that state and local officials will make a principled stand against this lawless invasion. If not, the United States of America may soon become but a faint memory.
For your AFIRE ping list
“Then masybe then, people will understand just how important this issue is. Now that is pretty pathetic, it takes the death of innocent Americans to get Washington to take notice.”
Since the borders have intentionally been left unsecured since 9/12, I doubt even another terrorist attack would matter. I do believe, at that point, we would be sold a bill of goods on the need for perimeter security of the continent instead. CFR’s North American Union agenda.
“There are few that realize just how quickly we can turn into a 3rd world cesspool.”
One silver lining... more people across the country realize it now that they have seen their own cities change completely in just a few years. Also, this is personal - their homes, their greatest investment, being threatened - not just something you’re reading about that’s happening thousands of miles away.
All politicians that give illegals aliens official sanctuary or local aid should be arrested by ICE for aiding and abetting lawbreakers. That means mayors of major cities.
The former Los Angeles (now Tijuana Norte) is also a huge sanctuary city, with a midget Mexican for a mayor.
I believe events in this area will someday lead to a new civil war. Our "senators" and most of our "reps", and also our "governor" do not seem concerned as long as they sit behind gates in their perfumed seats.
“One silver lining... more people across the country realize it now that they have seen their own cities change completely in just a few years.:
In 6 years, illegals have spread from California, to Tennessee to Boston......probably close to 10 million in 6 years.
BUMP

They have the money to leave if things get too bad.
Well good for you but I certainly am. That is a major part of the problem. From the criminality, to the socialistic nature of most Hispanic countries, to the Spanish language which is overrunning everything etc etc. This idea that we have no culture and any will do is complete BS and partially what is destroying this country.
FYI. A very interesting thread.

I picked up on that as well, and thought how successful these pro-illegals are in getting us on the defensive by making us think that we must precede our comments with a “some of my best friends are . . .” disclaimer. It’s about time we stopped that. I wrote the author in that same vein.
I like Victor Davis Hansen’s reply to the “Racist!” cry - “That slur is SO pre-911.” I can’t wait to use it.

Amen!!
Knowledge is power, and this information needs to get out. Most of the "news" people are deaf and dumb.
Good article, great thread. Thanks to all contributors. Another BTTT!
Unfortunately, I am afraid you’re right . . .it will take another terrorist attack to wake people up.
Must reads!!...Contrast the printed article below with another wonderful piece by Fjordman on why the EU must GO: http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/2266/print

President Bush
President Bush signed an agreement creating a “permanent body” that commits the U.S. to “deeper transatlantic economic integration,” without ratification by the Senate as a treaty or passage by Congress as a law.
The “Transatlantic Economic Integration” between the U.S. and the European Union was signed April 30 at the White House by Bush, German Chancellor Angela Merkel the current president of the European Council and European Commission President José Manuel Barroso.
The document acknowledges “the transatlantic economy remains at the forefront of globalization,” arguing that the U.S. and the European Union “seek to strengthen transatlantic economic integration.”
The agreement established a new Transatlantic Economic Council to be chaired on the U.S. side by a cabinet-level officer in the White House and on the EU side by a member of the European Commission.
The current U.S. head of the new Transatlantic Economic Council is Allan Hubbard, assistant to the president for Economic Policy and director of the National Economic Council.
The current EU head of the council is Günther Verheugen, vice-President of the European Commission in charge of enterprise and industry.
(Story continues below)
The Transatlantic Economic Council was tasked with creating regulatory convergence between the U.S. and the EU on some 40 different public policy areas, including intellectual property rights, developing security standards for international trade, getting U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Practices) recognized in Europe, developing innovation and technology in health industries, implementing RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technologies, developing a science-based plan on bio-based products and establishing a “regular dialogue” to address obstacles to investment.
At a joint press conference, Bush thanked the other two leaders for signing the “trans-Atlantic economic integration plan,” commenting that, “It is a recognition that the closer that the United States and the EU become, the better off our people will be.”
Barroso said the Transatlantic Economic Council is meant to be “a permanent body, with senior people on both sides of the Atlantic.”
As WND has reported, Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez repeatedly has pushed for North American integration, much as the April 30 agreement proposes closer U.S.-EU integration.
Mexico’s ambassador to the U.N., Enrique Berruga, has called for a North American Union to be created in the next eight years.
But the Bush administration’s push for North American integration is facing increasing opposition within Congress.
WND reported Rep. Virgil Goode, R-Va., has introduced House Concurrent Resolution 40, which opposes the administration’s Security and Prosperity Partnership, blocks a NAFTA Superhighway System and expresses opposition to the U.S. entry into a North American Union with Mexico and Canada.
WND also has reported a movement led by Phyllis Schlafly of Eagle Forum has led to an increasing number of state legislatures proposing resolutions opposing a North American Union.
