does the statement "homosexuality is a birth defect" rise to the level you guys are talking about. i just replied to that exact statement on a star trek thread. seriously, i'm asking. it seems to be in that realm.

off-hand, seemingly hate-filled statements are commonplace, but honestly i don't think it makes FR a hate site. i like o'reilly (look at my screen name) but he is, of course, wrong on this issue. he's simply uninformed.

He didn't say "types". He made very specific allegations which at this time seem no where to be found. But assuming that if homosexuality is genetic, wouldn't it make it a birth defect?

Well, I’ve often stated that liberalism is a genetic disease. I suppose that would rise to the level of hate speech and should be outlawed by the federal government. O’Reilly should watch his mouth. He insults large groups of people on a daily basis. If he keeps pushing the hate speech concept, he may find the feds coming after him someday.
