I went to the UK in 2001. Some of the people I talked to over there were so appalled that the US allowed their people the right to bare arms. Then in the same breath they said that a gun shot wound would probably be less painful than being beat to death with a club or pipe like the Thugs in the UK do to people. And I was thinking....duh...and in America we can protect ourselves.
