The fact is, O’Reilly doesn’t like any website that doesn’t make him money — which means the only website he approves of is his own.

He hates the web because he can’t control it. He hates the web because he can’t have the government control it. He hates the idea that he is not a gatekeeper of information — that the web opens up opinion to people other than himself.

This is one of the key points to understand about O’Reilly. It colors every response he has to the internet. I mean, my God!...people are able to express themselves without having to pay their dues on “Inside Edition” or a paycheck from a legitimate media source. We can’t have that! It’s anarchy!

Are There Right Wing Hate Sites?

I suspect there are.
The KKK, Aryan Brotherhood, The Phinneans (sp?)...
Lord only knows what sort of BEYOND THE PALE Right-Wing websites
are out there on the web.

But at www.freerepublic.com, there's a wide spectrum of opinion and
comment. And there is "censorship", such as the removal of a thread
on a (to this poster) legitimate article critiquing INSANE governmental
policies by a major country in Europe.

Yes, there are occasional outbreaks of white-hot disdain on freerepublic.
But, by and large, there aren't folks pimpin' for the assassination of
politicians they disagree with.

That's because most Freepers seem to understand that however confused,
convoluted or, yes, even EVIL, some of their adversaries maybe appear...
there are certain rules of etiquette that really should be observed.
