The more days that go by (without most of them being killed) the better chance of such happening (though it will likely be US SOF conducting any such hostage rescue attempt)

SK should openly state that if another hostage member is killed they will send additional soldiers (in large numbers) to help hunt the Taliban. This would be SK best response (in no uncertain terms - You kill another hostage and we will send thousands of soldiers to hunt you down).
