In my experience, those who beat their dogs, cats and/or horses tend to treat their families the same way. Rest at ease replying to me for my Husky is spoiled rotten and loves life at my expense.
He allows me the chore to take care of human concerns and appreciates my care taking of him.
I protect him from the silly day to day political fervor insistent in promoting an agenda.
