I have read more on him. Pro Arab, yes, and by virtue of that he “supports” people of the Muslim faith. I think it’s a stretch past that. I think we will find his concern was something that we have seen here on Free Republic at times, increased hyperbole against all Arabs due to 9/11. He is basically against profiling all people of Arab decent. I can’t hold that against him.

Now does that bring him into the same sphere as some less savory Arab groups or individuals, well look at the Doctors in Britain. They were respect members of British Society until that one day. It is a tough call, but I don’t see him supporting anti American activities.
