a) Get them to change their minds,
b) end the war in Iraq,
c) bring one American home victorious.
Actually, most of our counter protesting has stolen half their press. And it has removed Code Pink from the front gate of Walter Reed. The soldier patients their thank us all the time.
Ah yes, steal the press. Good plan. You mean the virulently anti-Bush, Republicans-are-the-spawn-of-the-Devil press, which enstupidates (not a word, but you get the idea)the American public on a daily basis under the cover of providing them with information?
If THAT is your goal in all of this, then alas, you have lost already. In fact, you showed up for that fight completely unarmed.
And nice try trotting out the Walter reed line in an attempt to shame me: I’ve seen guys killed in far worse ways than IED’s and EFP’s. And in peacetime, too. I already have the deaths of thousands (potentially) on my conscience, having prepared the explosives that killed them.
I don’t in any way discount the sacrifices in blood and limbs made by our service folkls, and donRt you dare try to pportray me in that light, because it just ain’t true.
If you wish to waste your time chasing degenerates around Central Park in an effort to win hearts and minds (before you’ve broken skulls and legs), then you are wasting your efforts.
How about you go picket in front of the White House and get the “Commander in Chief” to do the things necessary to win and “bring democracy to the Middle East” — like beating the snot out of these people until they are reduced to drinking puddle water and picking the undigested thistles out of their camel’s scat for sustenance?
TThat would be a far more productive expenditure of your time, and probably put some friggin’ backbone into our “leaders”.
This war will not be won by demionstrations and counter-demonstrations, “stealing” anyone press, or proviong that your tin-plated patriotism makes you superior; it will be won when the American people DEMAND that we fight to win, rather than fighting to make friends.
Some people don't want to hear that the radicals' numbers have been dropping because we have been able to get through to some of the more rational of the "peace" protesters who have learned about the communist parentage of the radical "peace" groups.
Some people also think that if they close their eyes, that nobody can see them.
