Spence Abraham is a perplexing choice to head up Fred Thompson`s team. Even though Abhraham gets a 92 rating from the ACU, he is not my idea of a tough politico. His record on immigration makes him another Mel Martinez.
Always liked Debbie Schlussel, but her public support for the campaign of the liberal Rudy Giuliani looses her all credibility with this conservative. I seriously doubt I’m the only conservatives who thinks that way.

It’s a bit sad to me (while reading this thread), how conspiracy-minded people are, and how driven they are to destroy Fred.
It’s one thing to say,...it’s not the best pick for a manager, and I think he ought to change it, just for the sake of his reputation. That’s a legitamate request and concern. But there’s this endless furor of anti-sentiment on Fred. Like ‘A’ automatically means ‘Z’. The logic is way-out there.

Debbie supports Rudy because of his hard-line stance on terrorism and his stable and consistent support of Israel. He wouldn’t sell Israe out, like Bush/Rice are doing. If I were Jewish and her, I too would look fondly upon Rudy in this particular area of policy, which is what Debbie mostly blogs about. That is her area of expertise, primarily. Rudy went through 9/11 and he knows what and who the enemy really is. Too bad he sucks on social issues.
