What a cold, cold life atheists live. They have absolutely nothing to look forward to after death but hell. The fact that they do not believe in hell carries no weight at all.

Afterall, they are mere ants in the universe with absolutely nothing but the power of a man (a mere ant). Nothing will save them, nothing will comfort them. How could they possibly live in this world and not see the creation and the beauty in it and not see that a loving God is showing them His handiwork?

How can they look at a rose, an azalea and not see the love of the Creator but see only evolution? Evolution does not create utter beauty and utter miracles.

But, they have no God - so this is all they will ever have. How do they bear the deaths as for them it is totally the end and they will never see those people again?

Such a cold, cold life when you deny Jesus and His gift to mankind, when you deny God and His handiwork in the world you were born into.

All they need to do is look at any of the insects and see how uniquely they are made for their lives, look at any of the flowers and see the uniqueness & the beauty. Look at the birth of a newborn and how nature’s systems work together to bring about a new person into the world. Not man’s efforts but nature (God). Men were born long before hospitals and doctors.

How dumb can you be to think your own power exceeds that of a loving God who sent His own Son to die for us and pay the price of our inability to be pure enough to reside with God for eternity.

What could possibly make them think that this world and everything in it has no purpose but to provide them a place to sprout their unbelief for 70-90 years? What about the many, many generations of this earth and all the peoples that have lived out their lives here? To no more purpose than denying Jesus and unbelief? Give me a break.

And, they have nothing better to offer than a life of eternity with God.

Such utter, utter stupidity and vanity.

I don’t know what in my comment required such an outpouring of pious dreck, but I feel the need for a shower after reading it. Hand me that bottle of Superstition Away, please.

“The fact that they do not believe in hell carries no weight at all.”

This is one thing that really bugs me. I have heard on popular television shows and among acquaintances the idea that whatever you believe about the afterlife is what will happen. Interestingly, this isn’t taken to its furthest extent to where people choose to believe in a sort of lottery-winning afterlife of hedonistic pleasures. It’s a tacit way of saying that everyone is their own god. I guess it is the ultimate extension of moral relativism, but it doesn’t make any sense and certainly doesn’t have any scientific grounding. It’s just one of those “nice ideas” that made it into the popular consciousness.
