Yep; he's running. Newt has a brilliant political mind. But, I don't know if he's electable. He'd make a great campaign manager for Fred Thompson.

But, if he runs, I'll certainly consider supporting him.

Why would Newt want to wrap this pygmy in foil?

Newt champions solving the non-existent global warming problem. He’s toast.

I did a “search” and did not find it. If so, my bad.

You’re right. It was posted 5 1/2 hours earlier than my post.

Oh well; maybe some folks haven’t seen it.

I wouldn’t vote for Newt Gingrich. I trusted him once and he quit on us. When the going gets tough Newt’s a quiter. He can throw bombshells from the back of the pack of a crowd but that’s about it. As they say out west, “he’s all hat and no cattle”.

Fred should get in the race. Newt is the one RP that could challenge him as conservative.

Double-edged sword with Newt. Brilliant person and great speaker. On likability score he scores real low and with his baggage he’s not electable as President in my opinion. I see him as a VP possibility. He would absolutely shred Obama.

Wow, when Newt calls one a “pygmy”, he must be on to something. He would know!

Newt Gingrich will have as much appeal to the American voter as Dennis Miller had on Monday Night Football.

Sad, but true.

People said Jack French Kemp would shred “my friend Al Gore”. Didn’t happen

The guy just isn't presidential material, he should be heading the RNC or some think-tank.

Newt had his chance and blew it. Anyone who gets played for a fiddle by Slick Clinton shouldn't be elected to the town water board.

Sorry, beg to differ.

The only thing that is "toast" is your knowledge of Newt.

I have heard him talk, in person, recently. This past May, good enough for you?

I don't recall him being fixated on Global Warming, at all.

In fact, he talked at length about the differences between the thought processes of the left vs the right, why each party thinks that way, and what is needed to get this country back on an even keel and back in the hands of the people. Where it should be.

Sorry, but you seem a bit confused about Newt's message.

Just thought I would clear that up for you.

Glad I could help.

Newt is too cerebral for the common voter. He’s the Adlai Stevenson of the Republican Party.

He also believes in man-made global warming.

He would absolutely shred Obama.

He would "shred" any of the opposition party.....

and most of the 'Pubbies.

I'd pay good money to see a debate between Newt vs Hilda Beast, Obama Osama, AlBot, Breck Boy, et al, - one V all.

The Liberal / Rat mind would never recover.

Either one is an honest, thinking man or one buys into global warming. Which is NG?
