There is an upside to all this political correctness (though seventh graders should know better — punishment is in order, but ten years is insane): It is victimizing/traumatizing two or three generations of Americans who are going to have little patience with it when they grow up and become voters. And libs are going to pay dearly for that.
In this case I don’t believe it’s the Libs who are to blame, it is uptight, puritanical, soccer-mom’s who have bought into the 24/7 Fox News/CNN blitzkrieg that has them thinking that there are pedophiles behind every tree and under every bush. In a country of over 300,000,000 people, bad, sick, twisted stuff is going to happen. Trying to pass draconian laws like this that affects everyone to address the 1 in 1,000,000 occurrence like Jessica Lumsford (sp?) is like trying to pass laws against getting struck by lightning. But it gets politicians re-elected.
