I guess she's missing being the center of attention and she'll claim anything to get on camera or a mention in the papers now. Unfortunately for her, she's not worth going to jail for. Not to mention any action against her - other than verbal criticism- would run contrary to our ideas of "supporting the troops." She's the mother of a soldier whether she wants to be or not, so for her son's sake we wouldn't approve of people rapping her on her little head, not that we are the type to resort to such stupidity anyway.
She really needs to get some counseling.
