to ALL: it should "tell you something" about the "DAMNyankee coven" (DAMNyankees being defined as the 10-15% percent of northerners who HATE the southland & southerners. they are SELF-righteous, sanctimonious,arrogant, narrow-minded & BIGOTED.), inasmuch as they have NUMEROUS former members NOW on the LEFTIST/south-HATING/America-HATING websites, but there are NO former "good 'ole rebs" on those sites!

fwiw,my grandfather always said that DAMNyankees were NO better than racists & IF they were not so busy HATING the southland & southerners, that they would be some other sort of BIGOT. my grandfather was CORRECT about that, as he was about so many other things.

I'll admit that I've posted there once or twice over the years, mostly to tell them that they're wrong about some fact or another. After the Kelo decision it was fun to watch them try to get their heads around the fact that it was the conservatives on the court who had dissented--they couldn't believe that the liberals were willing to give their property to corporations, but the conservatives weren't. But in general they're rather shrill and irritating bunch and not very entertaining.

Like I said, I've never found a thread there about the Civil War, and I've never been to Kos or ANSWER or any of those other sites. I have no idea where you've gotten your information, but if visiting DU is a capital offense around here, you'll have to go tell everyone on the DU Funnies thread here that they're in big trouble. And as I said before, the History Channel forums are a much more likely place to find me. There's one of your Lost Cause compadres over there who is constantly trying to link to Stormfront and other white supremacist sites.
