I still remember the time a bunch of butch-looking NOW members testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Old Strom Thurmond closed the meeting by thanking the “lovely ladies” for their testimony. He was just being cordial (obviously) but the NOW hags ran for the nearest microphone and began howling about how “sexist” and disrespectful it was to be called “lovely ladies”. Why, it was as if the Senate Republicans were only lusting after their bodies, not their minds.
This was hilarious, all the more so since these gals were about as pretty as an NFL linebacker.
