May we honor Lt. Perez by complete and total victory.

I have a suggestion. Why don't you honor her by enlisting yourself or sending one of your kids or grandkids to go get maimed for Iraqi "democracy", one that can't even settle its most fundamental issues and has no interest in doing anything whatsoever provided American soldiers continue to die to protect them? Then we can honor you as well.

We achieved total and complete military victory years ago. We have failed, along with Maliki, to assemble a working government that is actually deserving of any loyalty or confidence from any of the Iraqi factions. This is not the nearly as much the fault of terrorists and rival political factions within Iraq as it is a lack of adequate post-war planning and management by American government and the gross incompetence and complete lack of seriousness about their own future by the Maliki government.
