Try the FAMILY OF ORIGIN if you are looking for the dysfunctions and pathologies that foster same-sex attraction. Men go into the seminary far beyond the developmental stage where same-sex attraction becomes established.

It has been pretty well established that teenage boys who have been molested, or who experiment with homosexuality are more likely to go on to leading a homosexual lifestyle.
There even was a case in NYC where a gay man sued his abuser for “making” him gay by abusing him as a teen.
So no...all male seminaries do not “cause” homosexuality.
But when boys are molested at these places - and when homosexual experimentation is rampant - then that certainly doesn’t help matters.
Yes...the family situation can be a factor - but there are many different factors that may act together.
