Bomb Scare At Miami International Airport

The Miami International Airport has evacuated Concourse F after a possible improvised explosive. A bomb squad is on the way to the airport. The phones are down at the airport, but were down before the bomb scare happened. We'll give you more information as this incident unfolds.

First one airport then another. First one airliner then another. Still probing. Always probing. Just a matter of time.

The one truth seemingly lost on airport security planners is that one need not smuggle a bomb through the security gates. It can be taken, in the form of a suicide bomber, up to the location of the security gates and detonated. Though no planes destroyed, it will put an entire airport and lots of people out of commission.
