I have a question for all Freepers about an odd experience I frequently have regarding this.

Whenever I encounter Clintinoids, I ask them about the Broderick rape allegations.

In virtually every case, I get a blank stare in response. They’ve never heard of it and sometimes accuse me of making it up. And, of course, they have no interest in following up on it.

Is my experience unique? I thought the Myers story was a huge deal when it came out. Did it get buried under all the impeachment noise?

NBC showed the piece when another network had on some award ceremony. Not enough people saw it. You saw what happened to George Allen and MACACA. If the press got on the story as they did with Allen’s faux pas, everyone would know. They don’t want everyone to know.

I just spoke with a Wall Street insider. These newspapers and radio stations are genuinely afraid of Hillary. She could take away their livelihood. She would do it if they make her angry.

Of course the media has fully examined these allegations. (/Sarc)

But in Orwellian type thought, the believers don't want to examine it in their day to day world.

That's why fiction books such as "De Vinci Code" exist and do very well. They allow the mind to wander into, and challenge safely held concepts, knowing all the while it's made up by an writer out to make a buck.

Which is safer than to bring the harsh spotlight on to the reality of who they picked for the most powerful position in the world.

The media projects a "he cares about women and chillen", and if he has a few flaws?

They also use the tactic that Slick has women throwing themselves at him, he would never do something like rape.

"And who has he hurt?", they rationalize.

Broaddrick? "Why she was a capitalist, seeking favors from a powerful politician.

Katherine Willey? ..."Well she was a volunteer at the White House, just begging for a chance to be close to someone successful as compared to her husband".

Except for the lying to a federal court, the Lewinsky affair actually helped him.

WJC is pretty transparent, the real quest is figuring out his co-defendant and enabler, Mrs. WJC.

Ironically, I've talked to a number of liberals and even Lefty's who find her scary, but they will still vote for her.
