Well, I do recall recently reading something about the bag or bag-coating used in microwave popcorn being a carcinogen, or some such.

So, if you're air popping, or non-aluminum pan popping, you might be all right.

Unless you're not listening to the food Nazis, and are using coconut oil to pop the kernels in.

Don’t most dieticians now agree that popcorn cooked in lard or beef suet is the most healthy, especially if covered with extra salt?
