Freeper timer has suffered a massive heart attack and could use some prayers. Doctors give him a 50/50 chance of recovery. We hope to be making the long trip to see him this afternoon/evening, the good Lord Willing.
Thank you for your prayers. His will be done...
The refining fires can sure burn hot at times.
Glad you’ve pulled through. Nice to have you still around.
Wow, those winds must have been something.
Please take it . . . in healthy ways . . . for a good long while!
LUB,
Again thanks, it’s a pleasure to communicate with a fellow christian on FR where there are too many dufusses. I counted TWENTY big trees down but possible solution : homeowners insurance. They’ll need a CRANE to get to most of them, lotta leaners. A adjuster is coming out anon. It looks like just about one logging truck load.
Of course it’s a “spirit is willing but the flesh is weak” situation : fingers ITCH to run the chain saw but w/only “half a heart” that’s a no-no.
Trying to contact a nanotech guy, I think we could do fruitful collaborations on near term projcts. Ideas like nano-bots that eat tar in the lungs from smoking(1 of 5 people smoke but I’m no longer one of them). Think of what a lung tar detergent would mean to the medical field. It would sure put more than a few heart surgeons out of business. Medicare would jump for joy though.
Think of it : a once a week visit to your local nano-bot lung laundry and you could still puff away. Yes, I know, the anti-smoking nazis want everyone to quit, they’re finding out what the temperance leaders/prohibition folks found out long ago : forget the morality, you can’t legislate it, just go for the scientific solutions of chemistry.
Actually I think smoking would decrease w/nano-bot lung laundries, as a psychiatrist, can you see why?
So glad to read this update.
I’ll pray for timer.
