Your bashing of Thompson is a load of crap. Most conservatives would support overturnig Roe V Wade, which means abortion law would be up to the states as it always was before. There is no chance of a Constitutional amendment outlawing abortion, further there is no reason for a conservative to want to usurp their own state legislature's authority via the federal government.

It was one thing to demonstrate that Rudy is quite liberal, but "proving" that Fred Thompson is not a conservative is ludicrous.

Without the recognition of the personhood of the unborn, there is no basis for overturning Roe, much less outlawing it in the States. In other words, the lip service being paid by a majority of this presidential field is completely meaningless. Their claim to being pro-life is as meaningful as George W. Bush’s claims to being anti-amnesty.
