Fred Thompson on Abortion:

"I’m not willing to support laws that prohibit early term abortions”

“The ultimate decision on abortion should be left with the woman and not the government,”

The comments you posted are dated 1994. Do you have anything more recent? More up-to-date? More honest?

The reason I ask for a link to your quotes is because they completly contradict Thompson's voting record.

Here's more, and this is dated 6/19/07

"When I was in the Senate a lot of people would come to see me and it usually would have to do with business matters or financial matters, or something pertaining to their financial welfare. When you came to see me," Thompson said to the crowd of pro-life activists, "I always knew it was about something much more important than that, the most important thing of all in this world, and that is life."

Also be aware, that I, personally, am in full support of Fred Thompson’s candidacy.

However, I have not commented on such on Free Republic, and will not do so for the forseeable future.

Good quotes from Fred. Here’s some more Fred, on globalism:

“We’re not afraid of globalization. It works to our benefit. We innovate more and invest in that innovation better than anywhere else in the world. Same thing goes for services. Free trade and market economies have done more for freedom and prosperity than a central planner could ever dream and we’re the world’s best example of that.”

F.Thompson, 2006
