“...hard to get a handle on this story without some context...”

Agreed—two or three selective events over 15 years does not paint a very broad picture...besides he can just blame it on the drugs...

I just heard Senator Vitter R-LA, whos number we now know appeared on the DC Madams list is also Guilianis Southern Regional Chair..... Vitter is the first Senator to endorse Giuliani and will be serving as the campaign's Southern Regional Chair. - From an article dated in March......Not to mention Guilianis chief campaign man in South Carolina turned out to be a Cocaine dealer.... On a seperate note - McCains chief stategist is quitting, and the campaign in out of money. (Breaking on MSNBC)... IS IT POSSIBLE WE ARE SEEING TWO TOP TIER CANDIDATES ABOUT TO GO DOWN IN FLAMES?

McCain is toast and Giuliani is toasting. The race is going to come down to Mitt vs. Fred.

Diversity, Inc., is retarded. They publish a story on 9 July about Ravenel. Can't these people read a newspaper, or watch television? Ravenel is OUT of the campaign since his arrest more than a week ago in a cocaine bust.

But it was a "diverse" arrest. He was nabbed along with a "brother" and they were both given the same terms for getting out on bail. But the "brother" could not afford it, whereas, Ravenel promptly decamped for a "treatment" center in Arizona.

Looks like the writer of this piece is both lame and retarded. That applies regardless of his skin color. "Stupid is as stupid does."

I think you’re right... if that’s the case i think Thompson will be the man. I never would have imagined both Guiliani and McCain having this much trouble so far ahead of the primary. This election is going to be full of suprises on both sides.

As Emily Latella used to say, "Ne-VER-mind." It's another Ravenal, not that Ravenel. My comment was wrong.

“....describing black lawmakers as “venomous”....”

not for an instant defending rudeee, but the above is true. At the moment, Conyers is at the top of the list, but the entire black caucus gratuitously employs venom to advance perceived victimhood, more entitlements, and special rights.

But soon it won’t matter, because the black caucus isn’t bothering to learn spanish and will lapse into insignificance.
s/half on, half off.

Both McCain and Guiliani are putting new meaning in the old cliche about “peaking too soon”!

The progress of African Americans since the days of MLK has certainly been “retarded” by the criminally self-serving actions of “Black leaders” who have done NOTHING to help their people develop middle-class work/education values (except for Bill Cosby) and EVERYTHING to keep all the folk “down on the plantation” of dependency on government, whining about “racism”, whining for more affirmative action and whining for more handouts.

The criminal actions of “Black Leaders” have certainly retarded the social and economic progress of African Americans for the last 40 years.

I have a long and distinguished history as a Giuliani hater and I look forward to the day he is reduced to a former candidate with gleeful anticipation.

That said, he has had some very bad luck/poor vetting with people associated with his campaign. The first Ravenel was a cokehead, his New York campaign manager drops dead, the new Ravenel is being branded a racist and one of his key conservative endorsements, David Vitter, has a taste for hookers.

Add Alan Placa to the mix and he’s having some problems.

Don’t forget Anthony Carbonetti and Bernie Kerik.

I don’t think Rooty knows anyone that isn’t a crook,a queer, or a moron.

I guess we can scratch Vitter off the short list for VP.

For a guy being pimped for his brilliant managerial skills I guess personnel selection isn't a strong point.

I once visited Diversity Inc’s office in New Brunswick, NJ. On the wall in the reception area was a large portrait of Jesse “Hymetown” Jackson. Nuff said.

AOL has a Black Voices thread that greets me whenever I sign on. It’s an African American and black culture community. AOL also has black music month.

Lets not forget Black History month.

Another leftist organization (diversity inc) doing its part to destroy a perceived threat from what they perceive to be the right (Giuliani is not on the right).
