The man is a moral scumbag who should resign. Why are we all having trouble saying that? Because he's a Republican? Because the DemoRats wouldn't boot Clinton? If every member of Congress who committed adultery resigned, that would be about 2/3 of the House and Senate. Which does sound appealing.
Vitter, we found out about. But realistically, hundreds of other Congressmen and -women have done the same or worse; they just didn't get caught.

I was shocked when I learned that Gingrich had done it (although it explained his deafening silence during impeachment), but would never vote for the man in a million years. Great ideas, but zero ability to now lead. You just cannot break your vow to your spouse and be an effective leader. Period.
