But my district would vote in a vulture if it had a “D” after it’s name. And sadly - they will keep electing him no matter what. Sabo ( previous rep ) had been in office since I was in the service in the early seventies.

It's not even the leftist ideology of these creeps that so many people elect that bothers me so much (bad though it is), but rather the low morals and poor quality of character of those that people will choose to represent them. This became very apparent to me when a gutter trash thug like Al Sharpton was taken seriously by so many as a Presidential candidate. Now I see many in office who seem to regard this country no differently than Hugo Chavez or Bin Laden do.

The people of Massachusetts are content to have a cowardly drunken lout like Ted Kennedy, and New York a Marxist grifter like Hillary Clinton. The Republicans have had their share of crooks, but they are driven from office if they fail to resign when their corruption is revealed. The modern leftist candidates hardly even make an attempt to conceal theirs. I could make a day of this but I think you know what I mean.

How can a free and decent nation want the likes of Kieth Ellison and Maxine Waters wielding power over it? I fear that those kind of people in office reveal the true extent of the decline and rot in our society.

Agreed - Waters is another one that has sprung a tap root in DC. Time after time they get elected. A better one is ALCEE Hastings of Florida.

He get impeached as a federal judge for being a crook and then gets elected to congress. Marion Barry of DC mayorhood is no better.

You are correct. It is mindboggling that the dopes keep electing these people. Not enough time in the day to rehash them.
