My guess is her family did not welcome her back with open arms so she decided to come back.

She claimed that Pres. Bush’s commutation of Scooter Libby’s sentence made her so mad that she had no choice but to jump back into politics. Her “hiatus” from politics might have lasted a month at the most. LOL!
