That poll is a joke. I listened to the interview with Duncan Hunter on New Hampshire Public Radio on Thursday. It was awful. I also heard a phone-in speech by Hunter yesterday at the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers straw poll yesterday. It too was weak, he’s a 2 issue candidate: border fence and war in Iraq.

I made the right decision supporting Ron Paul for President.

The funny thing is the same media who is now trying to make it look like Fred might have some pro-abortion skeletons in his closet, will be saying how much of an extremist pro-lifer Thompson is when the general election roles around.

Freerepublic, a joke?..... I agree the poll isn’t scientific by any stretch but it does represent the views of those on FR choosing to click on it. Nationwide I don’t believe either Paul or Hunter will be anywhere near the Gop nominee come Nov. 2008.

Refusing to reply is neither effective nor brilliant, in fact, it tells me more about what the man, than his answer.

I still think that an attack that is irrelevant if true, and dishonest otherwise, is merely an attack not meriting a serious response. (Of course, he did say he had no recollection of any such representation.)

If had had done the traditional response, then it would have perpetuated the story for another news cycle, then given meat for a response by the rats for ANOTHER news cycle.

Of course, at least Fred is getting in the news.
