Your very wrong on this point, my 420sel gets about 19 mpg at 55, 21 mpg at 70, and 22.5 at 95-100. ( The 22.5 mpg was proven both ways on a 300 mile trip to Seattle.

Ok, there is always the guy whose car does better at 100 than it does at 50, but I will bet you that a Prius doesn't! Besides you are aurguing with the wrong man, I hate greenies with a passion, but I hate hypocrisy even more, and the Gores are the epitomy of hypocrisy. Personally I had a Z28(1984)that did 22 miles to the gallon regularly at about 70 MPH in the Overdrive gear. Over that speed it started to suck it up pretty fast.

That's ok, I didn't mean to sound harsh or anything like that. I have a friend who has a Volvo that gets 26 mpg averaging 110, and that was crossing over the continental divide. I was talking about automobiles, isn't the Prius a doorstop, or something like that? ; )
