Can the Prius even do 100mph without needing an assist? Perhaps the Maserati was pushing the Prius!!

Actually the Bonneville salt flats had a Prius set a record of 130 MPH. Not bad for a 2800 pound car with 1.5 liter (93 cubic inches)and 99 lbs of batteries.I don't know what their MPG was but I'm averaging 53 MPG in my Prius in Colorado.

Terminal velocity of a Prius falling off a cliff is probably 140 mph.
