I like George Bush. Maybe he knows what he is doing, allowing the liberals to catch up to the obvious... but that is too little for you?

I noticed that, they "caught up" quite well in the last election.

While I doubt that's his strategy, I suggest GWB would have been better off aggressivly promoting his agenda rather than allowing the left to "catch up".

Not to mention several areas, spending, no child left behind, immigration, catching up, protecting the border, wasn't necessary.

You like George Bush. Isn't that sweet. What a ringing endorsement.

Maybe instead of worrying about others catching up to the obvious, you might try casting the beam out of thine own eye. Because what is obvious is that you have not a clue. You probably think Colonel Mustard did Miss Scarlet in the den.

Maybe he does know what he is doing. That is the scariest conjecture of all. If he was just stupid, you could say, "Poor George, he's doing his best to destroy America because he's clueless." But it is truly frightening to consider that he just may know what he is doing.

There was a story in the news recently about a small boy who had his face half torn off by a pit bull. I believe the owner was quoted as saying she liked that dog. As if that was relevant.

And, yes, that is too little for me. By the time the liberals, and you, catch up, most Americans will be speaking Spanish, praying to the east nine times a day and pledging allegiance to the United Nations every morning.

Yes, he probably knows what he is doing, BUT that does not make what he is doing right for America or American interests; nor for Conservative interests.

NEVER forget that “Clinton knew what [who] he was doing”, too.

Knowing what you are doing, and doing the right things are not necessarily mutually exclusive, but neither are they necessarily the same.

Bush simply has decided to act like his father, James Baker, and all the country club Republicans who think diplomacy, soothing feelings and making PC statements will actually defeat murderers. He could have urged the so called moderates to stand up and stand with the West against Islamofascism. He could have urged the moderates to help in educational efforts and foreswear the maddrasses even here in the USA via Detroit, NYC, Balt.,Philly, Denver. But, he did not. Hopefully, Rudy, Mitt or Fred will. No Dem will since they don’t think Islamofascism is an evil. Of course, they don’t think anything is evil except Pubs, Christians, conservs or Global Warming.

I think the author, Mr. Pipes, is the one who is truly confused. The president’s message has been clear and consistent.

Sure he knows what he is doing: buying Hispanic votes by keeping the border open, buying "poor" people's votes by increasing the government by 1/2 over Clinton's, buying weight among Saudis and such by praising Islam in a Saudi-financed center.

Sure he knows what he is doing. And now we do too.

I like George Bush too, I’m glad that I voted for him and I’m glad he won the last two elections. However he either doesn’t understand Islam or he doesn’t understand Islam.
