Definitely and it's not just British prisons. We know about all the jihadi recruiting in U.S. prisons and it wouldn't surprise me if it goes on in other countries as well.

British cops close 11 supermarkets as precaution after security “incidents”
At least 11 Tesco supermarkets across the country have been closed by police in a safety alert.
hey said the closures affected stores in Lancashire, Suffolk, Dyfed Powys in Wales, Fife in Scotland, Leicestershire, Humberside, West Mercia, West Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Strathclyde and London.
A Hertfordshire police spokeswoman said: “Police are investigating a series of incidents in a number of locations across the country involving Tesco stores.
“These stores have been temporarily closed as a precaution for public safety.”
The Thai army has arrested and detained 342 Muslims, including seven women, in raids in the rebellious far south. It was one of the largest series of arrests in more than three years of separatist violence.
