You have nailed it with amazing clarity. We can make all kind of explanations and justify their behaviour and try to stop it but the root cause is ISLAM itself. All these actions are directly encouraged and condoned by the Koran. They are Muslim is truly the root cause.
And the “moderates” who condemn acts of terror usually follow their hollow condemnations with, “...but who can blame them?”.
