I was living on a boat at the old Charleston SC navy base, when the closed base was used as the Border Patrol Academy. The BOQ was their dorm, and in the bottom was an old O-club, which became the after hours club for the BP cadets. Half were caucasian cowboy/redneck types, and half were hispanics, first generation mostly.
I always wondered how many of them were told by their gangs and famlias to join the USBP, as moles, to help their smuggling businesses.
