Below are the topics and guests announced for this weekends programs, along with my take on the "memes" that the shows are trying to push.  With each guest's name are a series of links that I found in a web search that helped me get a handle on who they are and what their likely positions will be when they are interviewed.

The Beltway Boys (Mort Kondrake, Fred Barnes)

CNBC's Tim Russert Show (Tim Russert)

Fox News Watch (Eric Burns)

Journal Editorial Report (Paul Gigot) - FNC show page

Sunday Shows For July 1, 2007

NBC Meet The Press (Tim Russert)

CBS Face The Nation (Bob Schieffer)

Fox News Sunday (Chris Wallace)

The Weekend Talk Show Preview Thread is up

It will also be cross posted to my blog at

http://wizards.townhall.com/

Here's a sample of  my usually witty commentary...

... War and immigration are the themes the dinosaur media wants to talk about this week, but the failed car bombs in London and the apparently successful car bomb attack in Glasgow will blow everything else away.  Don't be surprised to see some of the "sillier" issues and players (in the grand scheme of things) pushed aside (Leahy's subpoenas, Gallagher and Green on the fairness doctrine etc.).  Between now and when these shows tape who knows what other events will change the shape of the dialogue ...

... Bottom line, this weeks shows seem like their caught up in a Robert Burns wee mousie moment, with the best laid plans of mice and the DBM Gang aft agley ...

Is suspect Pandsey is still crying in his beer and tucking his tail between his legs.

What a job “P” no one does this like you, what an ace!

I can’t wait to see how the msm spins its way out of twin bomb attacks in merry ol’ by those misunderstood,”if we would only talk with them”,muzzies.

just want to add a timely observation here good freeper....you do great work and have for some time too....

I added to the end of last weeks sunday thread a suggestion and especially since the Fainess Doctrine is back and mentioned on the coming sunday shows

We always title the sunday thread and date it. I submit a possible title change.................

THE SUNDAY UNFAIRNESS TALK DOCTRINE ON T. V.

We would have quotes and video and the title throws em under the bus
