“Good waste of a perfectly fine Wurlitzer . . . if ever there was such a thing.”

I found one of the huge consoles for $50.00 and somehow fit the beast in our station wagon. Thought my musician wife would like it and the price was right.

Had it only three days when a very close lightning strike blew up the power supply. Nothing else in the house was damaged.

When it blew the organ played a very pleasent chord and just tehn went phzzzt, click, pop. I opened it up and it was a masterpiece of 50’s hardwiring. Must have had 100 pounds of copper wire in the thing.

LOL. Thanks for the laugh. You can recoup your money by selling the copper. It’s bringing a high price right now, as witnessed by the theft of live electric wires (hey ya’ll watch this!) locally (two dead so far).
