Normally I would be against term limits as the stay in office of the congressman should be a decision that is left to the voters. But given how carefully carved up each district is to practically favor the incumbent, maybe it is time.

As an alternative, I'd rather see ballots that list only the candidates name and the office sought. Mention of party affiliation would be prohibited. There could still be a button to push to vote 'straight ticket' but the only thing it would do is fire a taser or release the hounds.

Don’t agree. Let the people know who the liberals are, let the people determine the party they want to work for them.

Term limits will prevent the big plumping down of a pompous senator spending his time buying favors, storing up favors and building a personal kingdom in the senate. It will prevent them ignoring the people who sent them there, it will prevent their ongoing corruption tentacles working its way though our government.

We need people accountable to the American public - not cliques formed to bribe the newcomers or to uncover ways to control their voice in the senate.
