The American people understand the status quo is unacceptable when it comes to our immigration laws.

. . . and letting La Raza dictate their solution is even more unacceptable you a**hat!

"Common ground", Senor Presidente? There's absolutely NO "common ground" (If I were in charge, I'd like to reach across to the other side and jerk a knot in their asses) possible with the likes of liberal demonRATS like kennedy, RINOs like lindsey graham-nesty, and pussies like trent loot.

SCREW THEM ALL...

THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN.

Legal immigration is one of the top concerns of the American people, and Congress's failure to act on it is a disappointment...

Dear President Bush,

You've got your terminology backwards; the American people are concerned with Legal Immigration but they are adamantly opposed to ignoring the criminal actions of millions of foreign nationals who've 'invaded' this country. We're are opposed to allowing them to become citizens in direct opposition to our will (according to poles I've seen, 80% or better of us are opposed to this Amnesty Bill)!

What you've been inciting for is dangerously close to the Constitutional definition of Treason, Mr. President, and is in direct opposition to your Sworn Oath to Support and Defend the Constitution of the United States.

Laws are already on the books Mr. President. ENFORCE THEM

We have a Guest Worker Program - Some choose to break our laws and overstay their VISAs Deport them don’t reward them.

You and congress passed Border Security legislation long ago. It’s been six years since 9/11 and how far have you gotten? Finish the job.

You want to celebrate a victory Mr. Bush? - then celebrate accomplishing commitments and promises already made.

"It -- it didn't work. ..."

Well, no, it didn't work and I thank the Good Lord, Jeff Sessions and a few others for that. Now, just work as hard to protect the sovereignty of the United States and the American people like it says in the Constitution. If you can do that you'll get no guff from me.

Enforce existing law Mr. Bush. We all saw through you and your cohorts, they all failed with your personal backing, to convince us that your interests were for US citizens , not for Mexico.

You have no power of persuasion left. Good thing for the average US citizen that has to live closely with the outcome, unlike you.

FWIW, I am all for legalizing those here (after checks to throw out the criminals and gang members) AFTER the border is secure so that we don’t just face this same problem again.

The reality is that it would be a major burden on our country and economy to just lift millions of workers out of it. They are a part of the economy, and I don’t mind letting them stay..

AFTER the border is secured.

Hasta, Jorge. Your GOP Permanent Minority Act of 2007 went to hell where it belongs.

I call it the Comprehensive Latin American Relocation & Enrichment Act of 2007.

Actually your hero George sounds more like a Democrat these days than anybody on FR. He has become a failure and a sick joke. Believe me we are far more disappointed than we are gleeful at realizing this mushmouth emperor has no clothes.

Whatever, George.

You're not fooling anyone anymore. Those days are past. The majority of Americans are now mobilized against your effort to legalize 20 million invaders and finish off what's left of America's sovreignty, and we'll fight you tooth and nail to protect this country and its sacred borders.

So, with all due respect, Mr. President - UP YOURS.

Many of you here saying all sorts of disrespectful (DEM attack type comments) have simply shown we have a segment of our base that is of the same ilk as the DEM left (your politics are just better 90% of the time).

Unfortunately, people say all kinds of disrespectful things when they're suddenly kicked in the cajones.

By a man they fought for, no less.

I didn’t attack the President, but I am very disappointed, really, I’m shocked to the core as this seems like a different person, like it’s not really him, how can it be? To be honest I’m very puzzled by the whole thing. What a fiasco this has been, now the issue of the Fence is going to rise up to such a racket that they will have to address it.

No, Jorge, what's a disappointment is the failure of you and Congress to ENFORCE the existing laws and secure the borders. Jack@ss!

But don't worry, Jorge, if I might paraphrase you from back in the days when you seemed to actually give a crap about this country: I can hear you, and the people (like you) who have repeatedly refused to enforce the law and secure the borders will hear from all of us soon (2008 being our earliest opportunity).

Dear El Presidente:

Your administration is now hopelessly crippled. Give it up. The American people don't want amnesty. Now just go quietly away after your term expires in January 2009.

Sincerely,

VR

"The real disappointment is President Bush. So much potential, so many opportunities wasted. Just so he could be friends with the media and fat Ted. Hey George, they still don’t like you....."

Yes, and now you've made your old friends who put you in the WH not like you either. Sad, huh?
