Actually, time is on our side. We will be able to get a much better bill in a few years as the problem continues to metastasize around the country. The American people are reaching a boiling point over this issue as more and more grassroots organizations are springing up to save their communities. The Dems and the coporate RINOs know this, which is why there is this sense of urgency to ram a bill through.
No matter what happens, this issue will be a big issue during the 2008 campaign.
