He is dead wrong on this one, but this wasn't the top issue in 2000 and 2004 and he never attempted to deceive us on his immigration stance.

Yes he did. He was very clear from the beginning that any immigration plan that he would submit would not include amnesty.

Yes there was some finnagling with the letter-of-the-law "If they have to pay us $1 then technically it's not amnesty" but in spirit, it was precisely amnesty. So I'll grant you that.
