Graham is toast and I suspect he knows it full well. He has kissed enough DC behind (I'll leave it at that) to prepare to leave office with some good prospects of being a media talking head, you know, the Republican expert who always seems to take the leftist side, a la Gergen.

So of all Republicans up for election in ‘08, only Graham voted for cloture (and didn’t even change his vote when the writing was on the wall). Strange man; they must have something on him.
