It’s undoubtedly too much to ask that two conservatives are elected. See tagline if you didn’t notice it before.
Both being from the south on the same ticket might not work to an advantage though, sorry to say.

I think it’s critical that both President and VP be conservative. Look at what the last conservative/liberal Republican ticket got us. Reagan/Bush led to Bush I, which led to Clinton. Then Bush II who would NEVER have been President without his Dad giving him the name recognition, organization, funding ability and so forth. A liberal VP choice is a long term disaster for the party. It’s been over 20 years of a RINO GOP because Reagan chose Bush I. The regional politics are less important than they used to be, witness Clinton/Gore.
