Just so you all know, we, the people, don't have a say in this.

From this link...

Senate Defectors Cast Doubt on Fate of U.S. Immigration Measure

...``We are in trench warfare, and it's going to be rough,'' said Pennsylvania Republican Arlen Specter, a chief sponsor of the legislation. ``But we are going to see the will of the Senate work one way or another.''

No hubris on display there. Nah.

Without doubt, Arlen Specter is Arlen’s Specter’s favorite guy. Except for maybe Kennedy (and now Voinovich, I guess) I can’t think of a more arrogant, power-drunk creep in the Senate.

Unfortunately, this blathering RINO POS is my Senator :-<.

``But we are going to see the will of the Senate work one way or another.'' Arlen Specter

What matters is the will of the Senate, of course. The will of the people doesn't amount to a hill of beans when compared to the will of the Senate.

They are our betters, after all. They are wise, while we are a bunch of knuckle-dragging racist morons...

THAT is why Specter is a terrible public servant. He was elected to work on behalf of the people, not the freakin’ Senate!
