Jorge was my word, not yours..Sorry if it came out that way..It just looks like you want us to stop getting on Bush about this and that’s not going to happen...He’s lost the support of the majority in this country and he’s certainly lost the majority on this forum..My apologies if I offended you..

You know what? You're both right. President Bush has been a strong CIC and solid on most issues. He is dead wrong on this one, but this wasn't the top issue in 2000 and 2004 and he never attempted to deceive us on his immigration stance.

That said, we (that's right, WE THE PEOPLE) killed the bill and stopped him on this one issue where he is sadly, pathetically mistaken.

Incendiary rhetoric about the CIC, regardless of party affiliation, brings our side down to the level of DU. That ain't gonna win us any elections going forward.
